The Airflow Configurable Plenum Range is designed to make ordering and installation straightforward, giving installers flexibility without the need for a fully custom plenum.

Manufactured onsite in New Zealand by Airflow Engineering from 20mm GFI PIR Pre-Insulated Duct Panel, our plenums provide a lightweight, rigid and thermally insulated solution for ducted HVAC installations.

Need something outside the standard range? Custom plenum fabrication is also available for installations with specific size, layout or system requirements.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I choose different spigot sizes on the same plenum?
Yes. Each spigot can be individually sized, so you can mix different duct sizes on the same plenum to suit your system.

Can I choose the order of the spigots?
Yes. Spigots can be arranged in the order you require. Simply specify the size and order of each spigot when placing your order.

How many spigots can I have?
Choose the base configuration with the number of spigots required, then select the size of each individual spigot.

What information do you need when I order?
Please provide the indoor unit make and model, required spigot sizes and their preferred order. Let us know about any important space or positioning constraints.

Can you provide a drawing before manufacture?
Yes. A confirmation drawing can be provided prior to manufacture if required.

What are the plenums made from?
Our pre-insulated plenums are manufactured from 20mm GFI PIR Pre-Insulated Duct Panel with a rigid PIR insulation core and aluminium foil facing.

What is the insulation value?
The 20mm PIR panel has a thermal conductivity of 0.020 W/m·K, giving a nominal thermal resistance of approximately R1.0 m²K/W.

What is the maximum operating temperature?
The GFI PIR panel has a maximum operating temperature of 80°C.

Where are Airflow plenums manufactured?
Our plenums are designed and manufactured in New Zealand by Airflow Engineering.

What is the typical lead time?
Typical lead time is approximately 5 working days from confirmation.
